The final art closely resembled the concepts above, but unfortunately the product photography didn't get the go-ahead.
For specialty and gift packs, the idea of using the sumei illustrations from Sapporo's TV spots were well received.
As the Creative Director at Rayment & Collins, I had the privilege of leading an extraordinary team in designing a complete set of packaging concepts for Sapporo Canada. Among the various concepts we developed, this one stood out as my favorite. We leveraged the dynamic product photography we had previously shot for POS artwork, infusing the cartons with a remarkable, thirst-quenching energy. The design was further elevated by the addition of a black lid and footer, which introduced a striking contrast and conveyed a premium look that perfectly aligned with Sapporo's brand identity.
