Phragmites Dig in High Park
In this episode, I documented the Youth Nature Keeper Volunteers, led by YNK National Supervisor Fel Castañeda, as they tackled the invasive Phragmites at High Park Nature Centre in Toronto. Through hands-on fieldwork, the team worked to remove these resilient plants and restore native biodiversity. This video captures the volunteers' dedication, their shared knowledge about the challenges posed by Phragmites, and the deep sense of connection they feel towards protecting our natural world.
